About

Slb Jewellery Design is a jewelry brand born from Salvatore La Battaglia’s passion for the arts applied to the handmade world. The cities where he lived, Florence and Naples, where he attended Conservazione dei Beni culturali, strengthened him in his vocation craft. He uses no mechanical equipment, all his work is carried out by hand processes, with only basic tools trying to give the materials their own direction, to become, in some cases, real sculptural objects that don’t care to be worn but only admired.

Slb jewelry and design objects are created above all with ferrous and plastic materials such as plexiglass industrial waste because behind the creation he is convinced that the beauty and the quality of an object don’t depend on the material, but by a series of social, ecological and economic values.

After a period between Rome and Naples, Salvatore is currently based in Nova Siri (Matera), where he opened a studio gallery, colled Casa Callas, he shares with his partner and collaborator Roberta Torchitti.
